wrong blog

I don't know if anyone from class is looking at my blog but the two posting you see - reflections and module 4 are from the Intel Essentials MT class I am taking at the present time. We blog daily and I wondered where two of my posts were and found them today in my web 2.0 class blog. I don't know if I can get my postings where they belong or not.

I apologize for my mis-postings.

Module 4

How can technology be used most effectively to support and assess student learning?

Technology is most effective when it supports and is a true part of the project or activity the student is working on. A teacher shuld never use technology in a lesson just to say he/she is using technology. The teacher should try and explore different tools to be sure what is effective for their students and make sure it is the right fit for the project and the students.

Module 2 Reflection

"This module has helped me think about using standards, CFQ's or formative assessment in the following ways..."
First and foremost assessment should provide the teacher with feedback about the students' knowledge and not just be empty testing that doesn't serve a purpose. Assessment can also provide information about student progress and also allow the students to feel positively about the learning process and themselves.
