I like showing one of the versions of the Did You Know Video (Shift Happens) to both students and staff. I showed it the entire staff last year during an ISE day I was doing on digital literacy. And I showed it again during the SVHS iPad class. What a great discussion starter!
But as much as the staff loved it, the students liked it even more. Most of them had no idea about how potentially far behind the United States has been falling and how competitive the global job market will be. Very eye opening and high recommended for both staff and (at least high school, possibly MS) students.

My problem with thode videos is that it only looks at the numbers when comparing college graduates between the U.S., China, India, etc. and not the percentages. Percentage wise we are kicking their behinds in graduates.
